Karen was an amazing waitress. She served my dog without me asking and just knew what to do. J can't wait to go back and get service by her again. I think ppl need to learn from her what real serves is.

Delicious cauliflower tacos. A large variety and tasty margaritas.

This place had great service and drinks but their fajitas were disappointing. They also use a lot of plastic. This is the most wasteful restaurant I have been to in recent days.

Always a great place to go eat. Food is good, drinks are great. Menu has been slimmed down a bit, outdoor seating is cool and no more than a 30 min wait during covid times. Haven't been disappointed yet.

Giselle is amazing!! She is amazing!! She gave us recommendations for beer and gluten free options!! And she is so friendly and nice!! Went here with a friend. The line was so long but it moved pretty quickly. Good drinks. Great guacamole and delicious tacos. Calamari is a great starter if you need help choosing.

Ok, where do I start? We visited today as a group of 10 and tried their brunch options. They have an amazing brunch menu: total value for money and taste. They have two Brunch options: standard includes 2 cocktails, 1 main course and potatoes and the fiesta includes 6 tacos, 4 cocktails and guac and chips to be shared between 2 people. Both are very delicious, super helping, and very well presented. Ambience is moderate; not too noisy for noon but not too dull either. Servers are kind. All in all a great Mexican place in the heart of the West Village.

Really good food but awful service. Waiters are really rude. And don’t care about you. Started to be very rude when it got busy and asked if we could move quicker since tables were running out. Again food good but waiters are awful

How was Caliente? Same as it's been since 2005 when I first came here after leaving the Army (Texas).The food, particularly the proteins are always cooked perfectly. The sauces remind me of weekends spent in Mexico. The drinks, specifically the Mezcals are strong without loosing flavor. I live the blood orange. Oh and the service, best in the entire village, east or west. What I really love is in the age of Covid19, the outside service is A+ You know why? Because they aren't new to this. They already had the best outdoor service. Also, no better views of the village than their corner location.I'll be back Thursday. My birthday and whether its your birthday or not, I strongly recommend Caliente Cab Co.

Although we were caught in the rain while enjoying a few drinks, the staff did there best to comfort us...I loved it, I'll do it again....

Food horrible. Even chicken wings were horrible no dipping sauces at all except for oil... huh? Burritos dull of rice expect for a couple on squares of protein. Not worth the money at all price are outrageous. Please save yourselves. After dinner the 4 of us went to go eat good food at a great diner

Love this place. A Greenwich Village staple. Very cozy outside dining. Great drinks, great food and great service. Be sure to try the 24oz margarita if you're really thirsty.

I have eaten there several times over the years. It is near public transportation. They have a lot of good choices. The prices are reasonable. The servings are generous. The staff is very accommodating. I don't like a lot of 🌶. They have food for weirdos like me.

4 stars because of our server’s service. Gizelle was knowledgeable, attentive, & very helpful. There aren’t any vegan options on the menu, but she assisted me with figuring it out. I inquired with the manager about their most recent DOH inspection because an old year is posted. He didn’t have an answer which was did, but ther than that, thumbs up.

Never disappointing! Great food and great staff. This place gets busy so be patient. It will be well worth it.

Very authentic Mexican with a nice ambience. Got a large drink which was on offer and took 3 of us to finish it . Meals had large portions and tasty. Guacamole and chips was fresh and tasty. Would return there any day.

Long Island Iced Tea! The way it's meant to be! Be warned, these are strong! Nice venue for the visitor and locals alike.

The drinks are good, the food too good. I would return just for the drinks, the vibe of the place is great, nice music, very cool decoration. They have outside space which nice to relaxing and enjoy the sunset in Manhattan, the inside space is all in wood and lower lights, super cool. Worth to come in for the large margaritas. Management you need to work on your food quality and size of your portions, comparing that to Cantina Rooftop and other Mexicans restaurant in Manhattan your food is way below them and way more expensive.

Server was Karen G, very great service. The Strawberry Giant Margarita is an absolute MUST.

I may have previously reviewed this place and if I did it would've been 5 stars. I'm doing another review now and giving it 1 star due to the difficulty in trying to make a reservation for my birthday dinner. We were initially told that if we have a party over 12 we could reserve the "event space" or sit half of our party at the bar and half at a table because the tables can only sit up to 12 ppl. Ultimately we decided to go with the event space. At that time we were told that they cannot accommodate a party of 18! The entire back and forth process was 2 weeks whereas they could've told us upfront that they cannot accommodate a party larger than 12. I guess we will not be booking any reservations there!

Listen. Y’all. This food? Delicious. These margs? Strong. But most of all??? Most Of ALL?!? They have a bouncer named ray who is A prince among Men and we do not deserve his service. You would be freaking honored to have your ID checked by ray. 10/10 would recommend.

I was able to eat a delicious burrito AND have Gizelle as my server! I've never had so much fun at a restaurant. my only problem in life now is that they close at night and I have to camp outside til they open in the morning. but the burritos are filling and keep me warm til I get my morning tacos.thanks GIZELLE

Caliente is always amazing, especially given the size of the margaritas. Always loved to go there on Tuesdays for half off on those giant margaritas. Happy to see that they are still doing the deal even in the midst of the pandemic. #TequilaTuesdays

I came to caliente cab to celebrate my friend birthday, and my server gizelle was amazing, her service made my friend celebration more fun. She was so attentive. The music the best & molcajate platter was a hit. I recommend it. Will come for brunch.

Everything is disposable, the menu, utensils, everything..Definitely the way to go during a pandemic. The food was great. Outdoor seating spaced out. Definitely would go back. Not to mention the cauliflower tacos were great.

Great place to have a chill brunch. For 2 people, you can share 6 tacos, guac and chips, and 4 drinks for $32 ($16 per person).

Great place for food and drinks- been around since the 80’s. After work happy hour. Excellent food Mez-cal., Mexican food a plus the service is friendly and helpful.

The best thing about this place are its drinks. You make a reservation and still have to wait 45mina to be seated. The food is okay but definitely not worth the wait and the staff is more annoyed by you then actually trying to be helpful and considerate of you. I dont recommend place to anyone and will not be going back.

The margaritas are good. The nacho chips and the green sauce was extremely salty. I also ordered a fajita and the chicken was salty as well. Be aware for those with high blood pressure.

Overall good food, a bit on the pricey side for portions that are too great in size. The street corn is tasty but the corn size is pretty underwhelming. The alcoholic beverages are pretty good just also a little on the pricey side. Overall decent atmosphere. But wouldnt say this was the greatest example of mexican food but a white wash mexican version.

First meal out of self isolation. Food was cold when delivered to our table. Waiter had so many tables he forgot about us three separate times. Thankfully the bus guy was more attentive. He saved this review from going to three stars.

CAME HERE FOR DINNER ON MY 25th birthday and Gisele was a charm she’s a light made feel comfortable she got me drunk lol you guys really need to have the fried ice cream because it’s freaking great she brought it to me as a surprise and she’s just the sweetest. Love their margaritas and Mezcalitas... Great vibes and great atmosphere. Their guac is certainly one of the best we’ve had.
